I hate to admit this but yesterday whilst typing this entry out I fell asleep with the laptop on my lap & when I got up this morn I was in the exact same position I'd been when I fell asleep which in other words meant that I hadn't moved an inch for 5 whole hours. I take my words back, I'm not such a fidgety person afterall.

Okay lol so yes, if you're here to poke your nose into how my long birthday weekend went, you've come knocking on the right door. For a start, it was nothing short of awesome.


Lugged Addie to Katong for this cafe place I had been dying to pop in cause the bright pink walls were so visually appealing. Unfortunately, in my 3 weeks of absence, the cafe was now nowhere in sight so we settled for some korean restaurant. My tummy was in a hungreh mad rumble. Beggars cannot be choosers.


It had been lunch time but we were the only patrons there & in my mind I was like oh dear golly this place must serve up some horrid food for a crowd this scarce. I was wrong though, & glad to be. Because I swear I'll be back there again soon. Anyways we were fascinated by the numerous little appetizer dishes they always serve the korean way. There were so many plates on the table at one time & I came to a conclusion that korean women do more dish washing than any other woman on earth. I'll go cook up some shocking statistic like the snapple fun facts.


After lunch I wished I still had more room for sorbet but no, no more accomodation for sorbet available. Distraught.


Anyways when you cohabit with a family of early birds, lunch comes early too. I can't remember exactly where we ate but we were only where we were for the Xiao Long Bao, which erpz wasn't fantastic.

My hunhun took me to CHIJMES for dinner & okay okay okay fine he was such a sensitive & considerate boyfriend alright. He had 3 of the 5 meats switched from beef to chicken/pork cause I absolutely abhor cows eww moo & he did all the cooking for me so schweet right. Oh yah we caught some lame ass horror movie which bore us to tears. Tell me about it, ironic much.

One of my birthday wishes this year was to head down to Nectarie cause of the very memorable virgin trip there with yans a year back? So I was pretty thankful I had the companionship of another special person again, this time round. I'd received my present from hun there & then & z.o.m.g feeeeel the heartache mmkay that silly boy got me a kate spade & a card with neat handwriting thank goodness! Srsly sank you so much b, you made me feel like royalty that night.

Haha I apologise, no photos of my boyfriend cause he thinks he's too ugly on lens. *shrugs.


Yans had been insisting she'd have to bring me something directly to my house & no place else. My curiosity was eating me up I swearrrrr so when she finally called at 1030am for me to open my door I was like alright this is the moment. AND LOL OH MY FRICK IDK IF I SHOULD CALL IT THE CUTEST SIGHT EVER OR THE SILLIEST BUT HAHAHAHAHAHAHA SHE WAS HOLDING A CAKE SHE BAKED(I KNOW WHAT U ALL ARE THINKING! LEAH MARYANNE LAM YANYEE IN THE KITCHEN HOW QUEER & TEN TIMES IMPOSSIBLE) & BESIDE HER WAS LITTLE NICHOLAS HOLDING A BALLOON ROFLMAO TOO BAD I DIDN'T CAPTURE THE SIGHT OF THEM BOTH SO NO FUN FOR ALL YOU READING THIS.

But like I told her, no harm done, no damage caused. Her cakes are safe for consumption, I stand here alive to testify. I luv you & appreciate your efforts yans & the remaining cake ain't going to waste I eat them for breakfast okay! I just had a slice this morn too. But I am very upset with the balloon cause by the time I got home that night it was deflated already why like that yans ):



Two other great girls I have to thank a million times over are Ange & Eve cause they accompanied me on a high tea session w/o complaints! Anyway I forgot to tell you girls this but I only just realised last night that the fruit fondue completely slipped our minds. My stomach must've ruled my mind, that's why I never took a second look before walking out the door. Sheesh.


You know how we were supposed to head down somewhere to meet the guys but Ange & Eve refused to divulge & they very stubbornly refused to tell me what was up their sleeves! So they whispered to communicate & I totally felt so lonely slash irritated cause they brought me in & out of the train in attempt to confuse me! & they kept speaking alien! PLUS they acted like maniacal tourists & forced me to pose for a photo with them beside the founders of hongleong -.-" I mean whudddddd.

But they EVENTUALLY led me to lau pa sat where Calv, Fab, Zy, Sw & Kai were all so comfortably seated @&(#(@&(*)@!. Haha, okay lah but I guess it was fun, that silly trail they led me on. Saddistic but still. Awwww I love you guys.


I stand here in genuine appreciation for the wonderful dinner, cake & presents. In all honesty, it's one of the best birthdays I've ever had & it'll stay with me for a long time coming.


Thanks to those who've wished me through msn/text/friendster & those who've gone the extra mile & played a part during my birthday weekend to make my day even more special. This birthday felt like missing out on sweet sixteen last year, cause of the o levels, was well worth it.
